Mexican Martini: There are two --

1. Mix 2oz tequila, 1oz cointreau, 1/2 oz amoretto, 2oz sweet n sour, 1oz fresh squeezed orange juice, splash lime juice, splash olive juice - pour in shaker....pour into salt rimmed martini glass with jalapeno stuff olives. Get out some chips n salsa and enjoy...Tequila's we use frequently... cheap stuff- 30/30 blanco [100% agave], hacienda de chihuahah reposado [sotol], cuervo tradicional; good stuff.- el tesoro plat, tres generaceones anejo; great stuff - 1942. 2. Mix 2 oz Tequila (Author's choice is Heurra Dure Silver), 1 oz Cointreau, 1-2 oz Sprite, 1oz Orange Juice, and half a squeezed lime; shake all ingredients and strain into glass rimmed with salt; add stuffed olives.

Parrothead Martini: Mix 6 parts of your favorite tequila, 1 part triple sec or Grand Marnier, 1-2 teaspoons fresh lime juice in cocktail shaker full of cracked ice, shake with vigor; strain into a chilled martini glass, garnish with lime wedge. Compliments of Bob Knight, Jacksonville Beach, Florida.
